Time for School

This post makes me realize how very behind I am on blogging. It seems like school has been in for a long time already! Our last day of summer was spent going to Gateway to play in the fountains and get a hot dog on a stick. I hadn't planned to do anything really, but that morning Nolan said to me, "This is my last day of summer and we're just going to sit home and do nothing?!" He was right, we had to do something! It's always entertaining for me to watch them play in the water. It really was a blast!

Nolan's first day went great and he's been doing well in Mrs. Mower's class ever since.
Ezra had to wait until after Labor Day to start preschool, but he was pretty excited when the day finally came. He couldn't wait to feed the fish and he loves Miss Susan!

Lulubelle

Lucy has many nicknames: Lucy Lu, JuJu Bean, Lulu, Snuglet (or the long version: Snuggle Nugget) and Lulubelle. No matter what we call her, she is so stinkin' cute! Here are some photos of her from August, when she was approaching 2 months old.
Sweet little profile:

Talking with Ezra:
Tubby time with the boys. They were excited but Lucy was a little worried about all their noise and sloshing about.

Every day is like playing dress-up! She's always so pretty in whatever I choose to put her in! I love her little French kitty suit. And this is what happens to her bows in the car seat.

Learning to smile. She's getting very good at it!
I don't get a lot done lately. Sometimes I feel guilty that the floor isn't swept better and that things aren't put away. But this is what I always find myself doing. She is growing so fast that I'm pretty sure I'll never regret all the cuddle time I share with her!

All in the Family

I thought it would be fun to compare baby pictures of the kids. We typically hear that Lucy looks a lot like Nolan.
Hospital Pictures: (they all look pretty similar at this age)

Newborn Photos: (Lucy was 5 days old, Ezra was 9 days old, and Nolan was 7 days old)
First smiles: (all around 8 or 9 weeks old)
