I'm realizing that there are many funny things that Nolan says that I should be writing down. Last month, while Grandma Sherri was here after our hospital stay, she took Nolan out for a walk. We like to let him run down the sidewalk and decide where to go. It really gets the energy out. Well, as they were walking, my mom said that he came upon a small fishing boat parked on its trailer. He stopped, gasped, and said, "Ocean liner!" Let me just say this: Baby Einstein movies.
And lately, whenever we pull something out of a box, get a baby gift, open a treat, etc. he says, "Wow, great!" Last month his funny phrase was "Holy cow!" And once last week he walked around for 15 minutes repeating, "Dang it!" I guess I'll try not to say that anymore.

It's so surprising what they pick up on! Cora's last new saying has been 'oh sure!' when we ask her to do something (that she wants to do of course).
But I think ocean liner takes the cake!
hey, there is nothing wrong with Dang it!lol at least he is not saying other things...it could be worst1
Gotta love baby einsteins...love the ocean liner story. So funny. What a cute kid.
We were just talking about this today. My friend told about when her sister was little she walked into Grandma's house just as she dropped her wedding ring down the sink. She said a choice word & guess when the little girl decided to repeat it? When she dropped her toy in sacrament meeting! Guess you never know who's listening.
Ocean liner... what a little smartie! At that age, Rocky called everything a "big ol' truck." He still loves to say dang it. That one is hard to break, I'm sorry to say. At least the potty talk hasn't started yet. We are heavily into that one, and Rocky decided to drop some of those words in the middle of Primary. I wanted to die.
Nolan cracks me up!!!! Can't wait to see you guys this week!
That is so funny...I remember your mom telling me that about the "ocean liner" when they were on their walk and came over that day. It's amazing what these kids observe and immitate. What a funny boy!
I've had to cut back on saying "idiot", especially when driving. Emma gets mad at me.
I love the way little kids pick up on things.
You are so good to blog all the fun things that you notice at this age. I wish we had such a thing when mine were little. It will be so fun to look back and remember how smart Nolan is.
