The End of our Trip (I Promise)

So here are the final random pictures that I didn't want to leave out when I print our family journal.

When both kids needed a little break they did pretty well to share the single stroller.

We learned some lessons on this trip that I'll share just in case any of you readers are thinking of going soon:
Never bring a 1.5 year-old to Disneyland. They have a difficult time waiting in lines, even if it's only for 10 minutes. Ez did pretty well, but I'd rather not take my chance ever again.

Always eat 30 minutes earlier than you think you need to. Before you know it everyone is cranky and starved, especially Mom!

Always put the kids to sleep an hour earlier than you think they need to, otherwise there will be tears, many tears (also especially from Mom).

The night time shows/parades never seem to be worth it. World of Color was pretty cool, but it's so tiring to wait for a decent seat and then hold kids on shoulders so that they can see. Ez fell asleep anyway. When our family is a little older we'll probably love the night life.

There are many new things coming, especially in California Adventures Park. It might be worth waiting until 2012 when Cars Land and other areas are finished. Should be exciting next time we go (but I hope it's not sooner than two or three years from now)!
On our way back we spent time with Grandma and Grandpa before pressing on home. Ez was sure happy to play with Grandpa and Nolan loved telling them all the rides he went on. The rides really got long coming home, and Justin was pulled over for speeding only 30 minutes away from our house. Thank goodness that we ended the trip with a warning and not a pricey ticket!

I'm sure you'll feel much much different about waiting so long to go in a year from now!!
And watch out for that "Hungry Monster"!! We always have known to watch out for you and Keeley when you're hungry!!
Loved all the pictures! So much fun!

Wow...you guys sure did a lot. I'm impressed with all the things you did with how little Ezra is...very impressive. We still haven't taken our kids to Disneyland. How sad to get pulled over for being so close to home, but at least you didn't get a ticket. I love all the pictures of your boys, they really look like they had a good time : 0.

What cute pictures! I'm glad Ezra was so good for you. We took Tyler at 1 year, he wasn't walking, but crawled all over the place instead! Ack! I love how much your boys loved the characters! My kids never like them much until they are older. Glad you made it back safely and with only a warning instead of a ticket.

Oh Kenz...I feel just like you...I really don't feel like going back to Disneyland for at least 2 or 3 years. Teenagers are almost as bad as toddlers...they want to eat that expensive Disneyland food all the time!!! But I do think that Disneyland has this magic spell they put on you when you leave so that you forget the bad and only remember the fun you had. Loved your pictures...the kids looked like they had a blast!!!

What a fun trip! I can't wait to take the kids. I know they will love so many things. We'll have to plan a trip after Cars land opens. Ethan won't want to leave.

I'm so glad I came across your blog! We're going to Disneyland in 2 days and your tips were very helpful. We have to survive the 8 hour drive with our 2 year old. Thanks for the info and pictures. I'm sure your boys will enjoy looking back at all the pictures you took.

I LOVED looking through your photos and reading about your great vacation. Even though you had some rough times, I'm sure you are grateful to have such wonderful photos and memories to look back on.

Your boys are adorable, and they look like they were in heaven! Those photos with all the characters were so cute. It really makes me want to take the boys in the next couple years...I think we'll take your suggestion and wait until AFTER Dylan passes that 1.5 year mark! :)
