One of my favorite places

Yes, we went to Park City..... again. We stayed at a Bear Hollow condo and had a great time! The kids enjoy playing (and sometimes fighting) with each other, and it's always nice to be with my sisters and my mom. We missed my Dad (he never wants to come, though) and Grady. Here are a few of the things we did:

Stopped in at the cemetary to wander around and take pictures. It's such a beautiful little place.

We laughed at Ezra's expressions in the car.
Went to the mountain resort to ride the alpine slide and get caramel apples and sugar crystal suckers. Bryson and Blake are such good cousins to my boys... they're always tossing them around and keeping them busy. There is some teasing, too, because at the end of the trip Nolan kept telling Bryson that he couldn't be his friend anymore. I'm sure Bryson was crushed.

We played at the city park, which we love! It's all fenced in so that kids can't escape. They have dirt diggers (always a hit with Nolan) and fun things to climb. The main attraction was the zip line. Even Aunt Lacey gave it a try but it hurt her hands. There was also this really large, boisterous Dad that gave it a whirl, too. His shirt came up and his pants nearly went down as his feet were dragging on the ground. Lacey and I couldn't hide our giggles. Nolan did a great job hanging on the entire time.

Justin and Nolan even found a great 3 mile hike nearby. They had a good time together.

We ate at Kneaders, went swimming, did a little school shopping, and took some nice walks in the cooler Park City air. As we were leaving, Nolan got all quiet and sad and then asked, "Why can't we just stay at the Park City hotel for days and days?"

Just before arriving home I realized that I'd forgotten my big cosmetic bag. Justin asked if it was really worth the gas money it would cost to drive back up to get it after church. Well, it had our sonicare, the kids' sonicare, my flatiron and blowdryer, and all of my makeup. Yeah, I think it was worth it. After picking it up we then drove over the mountain to the Brighton area and walked around Silver Lake. It was a nice end to a lovely week!

Kenzee that looks like so much fun I am glad you posted the alpine slide pictures. I didn't know Ezra was old enough to go on it that means Lane is. I am so excited to go try it now. I am glad you had such a good time!

I'm so glad you laughed. Right after I posted that comment I deleted it because I don't know Justin and I probably shouldn't tease him...but I did have a good chuckle myself!
