Yesterday was Nolan's first primary program at church. He had a week to learn his part, but I was amazed that he had it memorized in about 24 hours. I wish my mind would be as quick as his! I watched him walk into the chapel holding a girl's hand and then he helped her later on to get up the steps to the stage. So sweet. He said his part so well: "Moses chapter 1, verse 39 says 'For behold, this is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.'" The only trouble was that he made an early exit and said, "... immortality and eternal life of..." He left everyone hangin' there a little, and several of us couldn't help but chuckle, but I felt like my little chest was gonna bust open with love! Way to go, Nolan!
It's too bad that after that he didn't want to sit up and sing the songs and later came and sat with us, rather than on the front row with his class, but I'll take what I can get. Justin and I were bummed that he didn't sing "Praise to the Man," but we know he knows it. I asked why he didn't sing it and he said, "I just love that song so I wanted to listen to the kids sing it."

He did such a good job. If you had your eyes closed you would think he was older.
That's so impressive! You've got a scriptorian in the making. Ethan's part is only three words. I hope he'll get through that when the time comes in a few weeks.
Nolan is such a cutie. He did such a great job on his part in the program! I just love that boy.
That is so funny about Nipple Buttercup. And I'm so sorry about Ezra's artwork on the wall. :( I'm so excited for your basement!
Way to go Justin and Nolan in the 5K! You guys are becoming a running family! I told you races were addicting! ;)
Nolan did such a good job on his speaking part in the primary program. He is so cute and smart.
Nolan did a fabulous job. I loved how he left us hanging...wanting more!! I was so impressed that he had it memorized.
Also, looks like you had fun at your concert, regardless of the you tube videos!
