Speakin' my language

It has been a difficult week for us. It seems Nolan has been whining or all out screaming non-stop. He is literally bored to tears and I'm out of ideas. Today, at the end of my rope after church, Nolan brightened my day. He has been saying about 10 or 11 words, but today he has two more! One is more a gesture, but you'll see:

Obviously he has heard us say "no" a lot this week. It's cute that he is saying more, but I'll probably start wishing he didn't know that word. One of his 2nd cousins, Andrew, would really get along with him... he is always saying "no" also! And I might as well say, at the end of this video scene he scooted toward the salt shaker and poured half of it all over the table. Cute, real cute.

It is so fun to hear their little voices, even if it is "no." Ethan doesn't say no yet, is really good at shaking his head or pushing away what he is opposed to. Love the video.

New words are so fun. I'm sorry he's being such a grump. You're welcome to bring him over for a visit if a change of scenery will help. Ella would like it even though she doesn't really play, she likes watching other children. Sadly she's already caught on to the fact that mom's a wee bit boring!

What a cute video! Jaxon even loved watching it too...he pointed to the computer at Nolan, grunted, and smiled. I think all parents can relate to the frustration with toddlers at times!

I thought it was so cute when Gene started saying "no" too. It's a word, right? And he seemed to use it in context. Yeah right. That is all he says now. I wish he would use real words. And if you ask him a question, no matter what it is, he always says "no". So, enjoy it while you still think it's cute. :)
