Ezra cut some new teeth and has had a change in his appetite. He normally eats like a bird but lately he wants to eat constantly! What a wonderful thing for our little tiny guy. The other day he sat in his high chair for about 2 hours while Justin refilled his tray with various cereals. Nolan wanted to help and accidently gave him way too many Cheerios. Ez must have been overwhelmed because that's when he gave up on eating and threw them to the floor. It was a Cheerios explosion! But since then he is always begging for snacks and eating his meals so well. My job is to stock up on healthy things. Here's my happy little eater. We just hope it lasts! Does anyone have any great snack ideas for my kids? I'm must be in a rut because I can't seem to think of very many healthy (and easy) snacks for give them. Even if you think it seems obvious, jot them down for me anyway. I'd like to compile a snack list so that I can refer to it when I'm making my weekly grocery lists.

My kids love my homeade trail mix. I put pretzels, raisins, cheerios, teddy grahams and M&Ms (not a lot of those though). Probably not real healthy, but it's a great snack to keep in your purse. They also like apples dipped in peanut butter, and so do I. There is always crackers with cheese and sliced ham (I don't ever buy lunchables, I make my own). Homeade peanut butter Ritz Bitz (self explanatory). Melody loves yogurt with sliced bananas in it. Hope that helps :)
My kids eat apples, clementines, cereal, goldfish, string cheese, carrots, bananas, pretzels, yogurt, granola bars (quaker brand), oatmeal, chex mix, that all I can think of right now. Good luck!
We love raisins at our house, especially the yogurt covered ones.
I've been wondering the same thing, so I'll be watching the comments! :) One thing we really like is the dried apples from the cannery. We also do a lot of pretzels, carrots and cucumber with ranch dip, string cheese, and craisens.
What a cutie! Both those pictures are darling. I'm glad that his appetite has grown.
Some of Jaxon's favorite snacks are pretzels dipped in yogurt (we like the salty and sweet together), cut up cheese with wheat thins or ritz crackers, peanut butter on toast, carrots/broccoli/colliflower dipped in ranch, string cheese, luncheables, clementine oranges, grapes, and sliced strawberries.
My boys will eat canned chicken right out of the can and frozen peas and corn the pic sweet brand. Lane loves to eat can peaches too.
What a cutie!
Hooray for Ezra eating more! I like to buy the diced ham at the store for Tyler to eat, and he will also munch on the sugar snap peas when I buy a bag at Walmart by the bagged salads. He also devoured the soy beans we had at dinner a few nights ago. He also like the personal sized fruit cups of fruit cocktail. Good luck!
Sorry no healthy snack ideas from me...you know my cupboards are packed full of ding dongs and twinkies...j/k haha. I'm glad to hear that Ez is eating better... I've always had to deal with picky eaters and it's not fun!
I love your family picture it is so classic and clean...beautiful.
