Here are the photos I've taken throughout the month. Lucy wants to ride a bike like the boys. Sometimes Nolan will put her on the balance bike and take her for a little ride.
Playing on the phone is exhausting! We recently adopted a "no electronics during the week" rule. The boys were becoming little zombies, only caring about Minecraft. So now they can only watch movies, play phones, tables, computers, etc. on the weekend. It was painful at first, but now they're branching out and using their imaginations again. After a Sunday afternoon of games though, Ez was worn out!
These two love a good "tub shower" together. That's when they get in the shower but plug the drain and enjoy a tub afterward. Best of both!
Nolan entered the Reflections contest with a photo he took of a praying mantis. His entry said, "The world would be a better place if... we had more journeys to explore." He won in his category and will now be entered at the district level.
He won a monster truck that you build and paint. He loved it! And he also received a movie ticket. We went to see Big Hero 6 with it and we loved the show!
Ezra is always wishing Lucy would snuggle more often. Now that she's busy it just doesn't happen enough for him. But here was a golden moment... too bad she only lasted two minutes!
While in San Diego, our fridge gave out. I came home to rotting produce and quickly thawing meat. Luckily the weather had just turned cold so I put lots of stuff in the garage and other stuff in the basement freezer. I had a new fridge all picked out, but we left Home Depot without buying it. Justin said he just wanted to make sure it couldn't be fixed. We called a repair man but then cancelled because Justin decided to do it himself. He found a helpful youtube video and got out his multi-meter and began doing diagnostics. It was a long process but he found the problem (a bad temperature sensor) and bought a new part for $15. I always knew he was handy, but now he's a real Mr. Fix-it! Seriously, fixing a fridge? That's just awesome! And Lucy was so amused with Daddy back in the cubby. She wanted to help.
Lucy loves a good book.
Wild time! Everyone gets silly when someone is without their clothes (or some of their clothes).
All that skin makes her so lovable!
Ezra's hat says, "I am a robber." We tease that whenever one of the kids puts this on, they look like a criminal.
Lucy learned to hit... and she thought it was pretty funny. After a few laughs, we finally told her not to do that. Luckily the next day she forgot all about it.
